An expert panel appointed by the European aviation association, ACI, has awarded Copenhagen Airport best and most well-working in Europe, writes the airport in its press release.
The motivation is that Copenhagen Airport in spite of former problems with queues at the security desks has been able to make the necessary decisions to ensure a high service level for the passengers. And not least that the airport has taken initiatives to meet the future needs for capacity.
The panel is represented by airport managers, travel journalists, consultants and spokesmen for persons.
Passenger chief Susanne Frank was awarded the prize at ACI’s recent general assembly in Zurich.
”After a year when the whole business was hit by many tightening security rules, I am glad that professional people recognise that Copenhagen Airport’s initiatives bring us back to the high service level which is a characteristic of Copenhagen Airport,” says passenger chief Susanne Frank.
