SEKO Denmark

In August 2007 the US based global freight forwarding and logistics service provider SEKO announced the expansion of its activities into Copenhagen. The establishment of a Copenhagen office was a necessary addition to SEKO’s strategic partnership of offices that will further enhance the company’s worldwide supply chain offerings.

A recent analysis carried out by Copenhagen Capacity based on Ernst & Young’s “European Investment Monitor” database shows that Copenhagen is in the top ten of Europe’s most attractive city regions for new foreign investment projects. Its geographic location, together with the huge investments in its infrastructure, a highly developed industry and a well-trained labour force, make Copenhagen the ideal location for expanding companies and regional headquarters.

As the capitol of Denmark and the largest city in Scandinavia Copenhagen was an ideal location for Nordic distribution and collection centres for overseas buyers. Copenhagen is considered to be the gateway to Scandinavia and the Baltic Region. For SEKO Copenhagen is an important access point to the growing business throughout Eastern Europe and the SEKO Denmark office is located within the centre of the most densely populated and prosperous area in Northern Europe.

In addition to customs brokerage services, the SEKO Denmark office offers import and export trade services and provides 4000 square meters of warehouse space with pick-up and delivery services across Scandinavia and Europe. It provides customers in Denmark a broad range of full-scale logistics services to satisfy their needs.

Founded in 1976 in Chicago, SEKO is a global provider of supply chain solutions with 45 offices in North America and offices in over 40 countries worldwide. The company offers a full range of supply chain solutions, including expedited and time-definite airfreight services on a 24/7 basis, ground and ocean logistics, and other services on an international basis.
